FAQ
What is Hypnosis?
Explore answers to common questions to help you understand my approach and services with ease.

What can I expect during a hypnosis session?
Hypnosis is not relaxation with candles and guided breathing. It is focused direction and genuine transformation.
Here’s what usually happens:
- Pre-Talk – We discuss your goals or challenges.
- Guided Change – Using suggestions tailored to you, we work with your subconscious to rewire old patterns that no longer serve you.
You are always in control. You can open your eyes, speak, or stop the session at any time. Think of me as a guide, but you’re the one walking the path.
Is hypnosis safe and suitable for everyone?
Hypnosis is considered safe for most people when guided by a trained professional.
We will review any specific health concerns during the pre-talk to tailor the session to your needs.
How many sessions will I need to see results?
Everyone’s journey is unique. The number of sessions vary depending on your goals. Some people notice positive shifts after one session, while others benefit from a series of sessions to reinforce change and build lasting results.
Think of it this way: traditional therapy often works from two directions; top-down and bottom-up.
- Top-down approaches (like traditional talk therapy, coaching, or mindset work) focus on conscious thought. They help you analyze, reflect, and understand what’s happening.
- Bottom-up approaches (like breath work, or somatic practices) work with the body. These methods help release stored emotions, automatic reactions, and old patterns that talking alone can’t always shift.
Hypnosis bridges the two. It works with your subconscious mind (where habits, beliefs, and automatic responses live) while also supporting the conscious goals you set for yourself. Because of this, some changes happen quickly, while others build over time as your mind integrates both the top-down understanding and the bottom-up healing.
Do I need to prepare for my hypnosis appointment?
No special prep required. Just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore. Everything else will be guided during your session.
